Pass it around..everyone's been asking for it...











Mom-Mom Brenda’s Kugel


Topping (I always prep this first):

1/2 Cup Flour, 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar 1/2 Cup Sugar
3/4 Stick of Butter- Chopped up into tiny pieces
(Mix this till it’s a crumbly consistency)(If you need more, make more)

Kugel:

4/5 Large eggs
1 Stick Salted butter (I melt slightly in microwave)
1 Pint Sour Cream
1 Package Philly Cream Cheese (I melt slightly in microwave)
1/2 Cup Coffemate Powdered Creamer (Optional-her secret ingredient)
1 Cup Sugar (use 2 if you want)
1/2 Tsp each Nutmeg/Cinnamon/Allspice (I use all, you don’t have to)
1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
1 Tsp. Salt (I try to use salt sparingly)
(you can add anything raisins, currants, nuts, fruits, chocolate, coconut)
1-1/4 Packages of Wide Egg Noodles
(Bigger the better or you can experiment with gourmet noodles or fresh pasta)


Directions:
1) Prep the topping(see above)
2) Pre-Heat oven (400)
3) Blend first 8 ingredients well
4) Boil noodles 3/4 of the way done(Cool down under water to warmish)
5) Combine everything and pour in a well greased shallow baking dish
6) Spread topping on Kugel (Don’t worry-neatness doesn’t count)
7) Back oven down to (350)
8) Bake until top is golden brown on topping is starting to melt(45-60 mins.)
9) Broil until topping is a carmel color and bubbling(approx. 10 mins). Do not burn!-stop yapping on the cell and check on it!!!
10)Remove from oven, let cool (15-20 mins.) before slicing.

Serve plain or with sour cream, ice cream, wet fruit/nuts, honey.

Make sure you fast before eating this.
This is a artery clogger and NOT for dieters, or diabetics.
Eat cold/hot whatever. Lasts for days in and out of the fridge
Brenda(Mom-Mom) loved to cook this Kugel, and we all loved to eat it. Still do...
